ethumb a ride is a vehicle for registered members to easily, conveniently and safely arrange to share transportation with one another. Membership is restricted to those 18 years of age or older.

ethumb a ride does not guarantee that members are reliable people. Anyone is free to join. The membership roster could include people of dubious character.

We do not recommend that you offer rides to or accept rides from strangers, although the mechanism to view rides offered by anyone is available.

Each member is individually responsible for establishing his or her own friend list. People on your friend list should be only those you feel comfortable riding with. Similarly, your name should only be on the friend lists of individuals you would feel comfortable offering a ride to. ethumb a ride provides a means to determine who regards you as a friend and to remove your name from other people's lists if necessary.

ethumb a ride provides the mechanism for riders to connect with drivers. Our responsibility ends there. Any arrangements for remuneration are to be individually negotiated between rider and driver, independently of any instruction, influence or arbitration by ethumb a ride.

By registering with ethumb a ride, you absolve ethumb a ride of any responsibility for bodily injury, death, harm or property damage arising from any motor vehicle accident which may occur during the course of a ride arranged through the ethumb a ride website.

ethumb a ride is not to be held responsible for any loss or harm caused by the driver failing to deliver the promised ride at the agreed time.

ethumb a ride will not divulge your information to any third parties.
